Install ScreenConnect on Windows

Open the download link
Go to https://www.mflit.com/remote-support in your web browser. Your technician may also send you a direct download link via email.

Download the installer
Click the download button or link provided. Your browser will download a file named something like "ConnectWiseControl.ClientSetup.exe".

Run the installer
Open the downloaded file. If Windows SmartScreen shows a warning, click "More info" then "Run anyway" — this is normal for remote support tools.

Allow the installation
If a User Account Control (UAC) prompt appears asking "Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?", click Yes.

Installation completes automatically
The ScreenConnect client installs in seconds. A small window may briefly appear and then minimize to your system tray (bottom-right, near the clock).

You're all set
The agent runs in the background and starts automatically when your computer boots. We can now connect to assist you whenever you need help — no action needed on your part.
Install ScreenConnect on Mac

Open the download link
Go to https://www.mflit.com/remote-support in Safari or your preferred browser. Your technician may also send you a direct download link via email.

Download the installer
Click the download button or link provided. A .dmg file will download to your Downloads folder.

Open the .dmg file
Double-click the downloaded .dmg file. A window will open showing the ScreenConnect installer.

Run the installer
Double-click the installer package inside the .dmg window. If macOS says it can't be opened because it's from an unidentified developer, go to System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down, and click "Open Anyway".

Grant permissions
macOS will ask for your password to install. Enter it and click OK. You may also need to grant Screen Recording and Accessibility permissions — the installer will guide you through this.

Approve Screen Recording access
Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security → Screen Recording. Find "ScreenConnect Client" in the list and toggle it on. You may need to restart the client for this to take effect.
